Furthering his passion for health care he went on to complete a Bachelors in Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy. Aaron continuously strives to improve his skills through continuing education. Lauren is a 3000 hour Registered Massage Therapist. Using her training and experience she specializes in Deep Tissue, Swedish Relaxation and Myofascial Release.
As a figure competitor, Lauren is very interested in strength training, health and athletic disciplines. Studying the muscles and anatomy of the human body is a passion of hers. In her spare time Lauren can be found in the gym or fostering and volunteering for many local animals rescues. Lauren’s mission is to provide her clients with the highest quality of health care and individualized treatments.

January is a graduate from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She moved to Calgary 3 years ago and is extremely excited to work with the team at Balance Physiotherapy & Massage!
January originally went to college for business administration and after 9 years in administrative roles in medical and business offices she decided to pursue her dream of working as a health care provider.
January completed 2500 hours of practical application of massage including; MET’s, bone mobilization, fascial integration, hydrotherapy, and exercise rehabilitation. An osteopathic approach to looking at the whole body instead of chasing pain and symptoms helps her provide clients with an efficient and effective way of assessing and treating dysfunctions. She has also started to specialize in chronic pain management working with Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, Lyme Disease, and auto-immune diseases and deficiencies. It is January’s pleasure to work together with each client in order to achieve their highest standard of health and well being.
In her free time she enjoys working on stained glass projects, hiking, mountain biking, reading/writing, doing yoga, photography, and keeping physically fit.
Mel was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and has worked as an office administrator for more than 20 years. Her charismatic attitude comes from her experience on the job and her willingness to help provide the best service to patients.
Mel’s knowledge in the health care profession helps her strive to make sure the clinic runs smoothly and patients are satisfied when they leave.
