Born in Ontario, Chayce now calls Calgary home. He completed his Bachelor of Health and Physical Education and Mount Royal University before going on to complete his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta which has always been his goal.
Athletics and movement have always been a part of his life, participating in a wide variety of activities both as a young athlete and onward through school. Chayces’ passion in physiotherapy is working with overhead athletes and weekend warriors with the goal being to provide patients with an understanding about the movements required
for their activity.
He aims to provide patients with knowledge about their bodies, improve movement quality, and to help patients recover from as well as prevent injuries no matter their lifestyle.

Welcome Dana to the Balance Team! Dana graduated from the University of Alberta and has over 20 years of experience. She has completed her training in advanced manual therapy, functional dry needling (IMS), myofascial release, advanced STOTT Pilates, Total barre & Zenga and providing effective exercise prescriptions.
Dana specializes in Pilates and core stability exercises. She has found many health and therapeutic benefits to Pilates and has incorporated it into her treatment plan for patients. Aaron was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he pursued his Bachelor in Nutritional Sciences. Furthering his passion for health care he went on to complete a Bachelors in Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy. Aaron continuously strives to improve his skills through continuing education. His goal is to provide patients with the basic foundation and knowledge to recover from injury, pursue their passion and live a balanced lifestyle. Aarons’ passion for physiotherapy is reflected in his welcoming personality and providing a positive environment.

Lauren is a 3000 hour Registered Massage Therapist. Using her training and experience she specializes in Deep Tissue, Swedish Relaxation and Myofascial Release.
As a figure competitor, Lauren has an interest in strength training, health and athletic disciplines. Studying the muscles and anatomy of the human body is a passion of hers.
In her spare time Lauren can be found in the gym or fostering and volunteering for many local animals rescues. Lauren’s mission is to provide her clients with the highest quality of health care and individualized treatments.

Laurie is a RMT, certified through M.H. Vicars School of Massage
Therapy and an associate with Massage Therapists Association of
Alberta and a RAPID Specialist. She is passionate about bringing relief
to those who suffer with the pains and discomforts caused by our
modern world. Using a client-focused approach, she creates treatment
plans catered to the client’s independent needs. Laurie has developed
skills in many areas including, but not limited to, assessment, deep
tissue, myofascial, joint mobilization, relaxation, basic manual
lymphatic drainage, and more.

Registered Massage Therapist, B.PE., AFLCA
Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education, majoring in Sport Performance, from the University of Alberta in 2008. She is a registered 2200 hour massage therapist specializing in orthopedic and sport massage therapy. For the past 11 years, Sarah has been a certified fitness instructor, which has led to her teach, design and supervise fitness and recreational programs.
Sarah enjoys bringing a holistic approach to her massage practice, incorporating her background in sports medicine and exercise therapy. Creating healthy communities is a passion of hers and enjoys inspiring others to become healthy and active.
In her spare time, you can find her spending time in the outdoors hiking and camping with her husband and two sons.

Registered Massage Therapist
Melissa graduated from the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2004.
Her orthopedic based training and the love of sports has led her to work with members of the CFL, NHL and with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Melissa is also a certified prenatal and postnatal therapist.
With 15 years’ of experience in clinical practice, Melissa has had the opportunity to work in various teaching and mentorship roles with two Massage Therapy Colleges in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was also elected to the Board of Directors of Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba.

Mel was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and has worked as an office administrator for over 20 years. Her charismatic attitude comes from her experience on the job and her willingness to help provide the best service to patients.
Mel is excited to be part of the Balance team and is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Her goal is to make sure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently so patients are satisfied when they leave.
